The wrestling team opens their season Tuesday, December 5th with a home match against Tussey Mountain.
The team will look to improve their record from last year and build on their skills under second year coach Nick Torsell. A year ago, the Devils went winless, but Torsell laid the foundation for a solid program in the years to come.
This season the team is returning senior Elias Alley who went 11-11 last season at 145 and 160 and Christian Jennings who went 13-9 at 215 before suffering an injury. The team had three grapplers graduate last year including Ethan Norris, who led the team with a 20-10 record.
The team added 7 underclassman in Collin Burroughs, Juliette Cuevas, Jordan Hance, Hailey Loupe, Tanner McElravy, Elliana Patterson, and Vincent Shank.
