Last week in Home Economics, students made fudge. One group made peanut butter meltaway fudge, while one made Oreo fudge.
The two groups of students then went around the school and put teachers to the test to find out which fudge was better.
The peanut butter meltaway fudge was creamy and delicious. After being in your mouth for a second, it melted away. Every bite left you wanting more and more. It will be a taste I will never forget for the rest of my life.
The Oreo fudge, on the other hand, was pitiful. It was overly sweet and had some crunch to it. Not something you want in a piece of fudge. Nine out of 10 teachers were in favor of the peanut butter meltaway fudge.
Mr. Hallahan thoroughly enjoyed the fudge. He gave the peanut butter meltaway a solid 9.4/10, one of the best, if not highest, score of the year. When trying the Oreo fudge, you could tell by his facial reactions that it was far from delightful. He didn’t want to be rude, so he gave that group’s fudge a charity rating of 8.6/10.
Overall, the peanut butter meltaways were perfect and need no change, while the group who made the Oreo fudge needs to get back in the kitchen and work on that recipe.
