Mrs. Shura is our middle school administrative assistant. Read on for a closer look at our Middle School Icon.
Everyone knows Mrs. Shura is a friendly face in the office but not everyone knows all the work she does behind the scenes to make our school run smoothly. Mrs. Shura is our principal, Dr. Wagner’s, right hand woman. She arrives to school before the students to ensure all the absent teachers have substitutes. She sends letters home to parents and information to teachers. Additionally, she takes notes and phone calls to ensure there is strong communication between home and school. Mrs. Shura keeps the office organized and is always willing to help out teachers and students, in addition to administrative staff. After all her hard work at school, she coaches the cheer team.
During the summer, she runs the little league concession stand. Mrs. Shura also enjoys hanging out with family or friends. When she is home, she reads or hangs out with her pets. Mrs. Shura has two dogs and a pet bearded dragon.
She reported that the quote she likes to live by is, “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” It is clear to all of us at BAMS that Mrs. Shura does just that. Thank you for all that you do…you are appreciated!
