The Bellwood-Antis Scholastic Scrimmage team has wrapped up its season after a strong showing in the IU8 competition.

These students have amazing talent, and were able to win lots of matches. They finished the season with a record of 10-5 but were not able to qualify for playoffs.

They missed 4th place by only a few points, but will work towards that goal next year.

The varsity group is very young, and almost every team member will be returning again next year.

Varsity team members include: Vincent Cacciotti, Chance Schreier, Holden Schreier, Briley Campbell, Emily Zacker, Derek Stivers, and Ryan Marinak.

Junior high team members include: Julie Kraft, Noah Cokrlic, Noah Gulvus, Eric Johnson, Ian Clark, Eli Bianchini, Tate Baughman, Tristin Riva, Owen Stoltzfus, Gabe Simpson, and Anthony DeArmitt.

Mr. TravisMartin, who coaches the team along with Mr. Drew Moyer said, “Going into the season, we were optimistic in our chances to place in the competition. The future is bright for this team going forward.”

The team competed at the IU8 Center in Altoona.
