The Culture and Climate Committee was born when Dr. Wagner asked the middle school teachers if they would like to help improve our school morale. The teachers who accepted all have the same goal: to make BAMS a better place. We, as the student body, should look forward to walking through the school doors and the Culture and Climate Committee is determined to make that happen!
The Culture and Climate Committee consists of a group of volunteer teachers that brainstorm ideas to improve school culture. They invent activities that bring the middle school together to encourage positivity and teamwork. Many believe that the committee has started to enhance the Middle School experience and students and staff are more motivated to enter the school building. “I just want everyone to love this town and this school as much as I do.” This quote by Mr. Hunter shows how much the volunteers love our school. It is also providing a positive and productive learning environment. One of our students, Hayden Taylor, said that she felt more motivated this year than last year. She attributes this to looking forward to the new activities taking place during school.
We are grateful to have a committee that focuses on improving school culture. We, as the BAMS student body, can’t wait to see what they come up with next!
