The Bellwood Antis track and field teams had a successful meet against the Clearfield Bison and Penns Valley Rams.
The boy’s team downed Clearfield, 107-43, and Penns Valley, 106-44.
Dalton Poorman had a good day in the field, winning two events. He won in triple jump with a distance of 39’ 9”, and pole vault with 11’ 6”.
Gabe Thomson won the 200m dash for B-A with a time of 24.o. Conner Bardell won the 400m with a time of 55.3. Holden Schreier ran a 2:15.1 800, and was able to get the win. Kole Dickinson won the 300 hurdles in 40.8. The boy’s relay teams had a clean sweep in each the 400, 1600, and 3200. Chance Schreier won Javelin with a distance of 137’ 6.75”.
The girl’s track and field team edged out a win over Clearfield, 76-74, and beat Penns Valley, 90-60.
Chloe Stolzfus won both hurdle events for the girls. In the 100 she had a time of 17.6, and in the 300 a time of 50.8. In the 300 hurdles, Bellwood had all three place winners, with Chloe in first, Ava Kensinger in second, and Shawna Lovrich in third.
Briley Campbell got it done in the 100m dash with a time of 13.4. Bellwood 400 relay team (Chloe Stolzfus, Avah Hassler, Chloe Hammond, Briley Campbell) won the event with a time of 53.5.
In the field, Addy Turek won triple jump with a distance of 31’ 4”. In discus, Emma Taneyhill won with a throw of 78’ 11”, and Ava Worthing won pole vault with 8’.
The next meet for the track teams is on Monday the 29th when Bellwood is hosting the B-A invitational.
