Ethan Shawley is this week’s Sensational Sophomore. He is very active at B-A in sports and activities.
Ethan is active in many activities such as FCA, French club, football, and track and field. Outside of school he enjoys disc golfing, fishing and going hunting.
Ethan is number 24 and plays wide receiver and outside linebacker. He says, “I feel like we have accomplished many goals already, and many more goals will be crushed.”
He thinks it’s very cool to be featured as the sensational sophomore.
This year Ethan ran for class president (he got it). He thinks it’s a really big role to take on, but he is very confident we would have had a great year no matter who was the class president.
After high school Ethan has a couple of options. He wants to pursue either cybersecurity, computer science, or carpentry. Some colleges that he wants to attend would be Penn State, Georgia Institution of Technology, the University of Miami, or possibly a trade school for carpentry.
Ethan wants people to know that he is a hard worker and tries his best to achieve anything that stand in his way. One big thing about Ethan is that he’s always kind, which is why he would like to people to hear this verse from 1st Timothy 4:12: “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity”.
