During the Bellwood-Antis’ Homecoming football game last Friday at memorial Stadium, Miranda Tornatore passed off her crown to Gianna Juart after Juart was announced as 2024-25 Homecoming Queen.
Friends and family were ecstatic for Juart as she received the crown.
“I was really happy. I felt honored to know people trusted me to be homecoming queen and I’m very excited about it,” Gianna said.
The Blue Devil’s won the game 28-0 over Philipsburg-Osceola. On top of that, B-A was able to raise $5,260 for two local women battling cancer in conjunction with Sideline Cancer.
Gianna said her favorite part of Homecoming was spirit week and expressed gratitude for her selection.
“It was very exciting! I enjoyed dressing up with all my friends an seeing everyone’s costumes. It was really fun!” she said.
The entire court consisted of Briley Campbell, Avah Hassler, Juart, Rowan Kyle, and Chole McCloskey.
“It was a very fun and great experience with my friends! No one on that court deserved that crown more than Gigi, it made me so happy to see that sweet girl win,” Rowan said.
All of the members of the court seemed to appreciate their Homecoming moments, especially Spirit Week.
“My experience was amazing!” said Briley Campbell, the runner up for Homecoming queen.
