Block blast is a new game that has risen among younger high school students as a way to pass the time. Very similar to Tetris, this new game has students hooked.
Block blast was created and released in the US in late 2022, September 23rd. It officially started gaining popularity in mid to late 2024. This game is about trying to stack blocks or make blocks fit with each other until you have a full row, and when you get a full row it will disappear and you get points on how big or small the row was. The point of the game is to try to do all of this before you run out of limited turns.
This game certainly tests your thinkings skills and suspense can get high when turns are low and clock is ticking! Very cool game, I’m sure it’ll be around for a long while.
