On February 21, Bellwood-Antis held its annual Polar Pop fundraiser to benefit Special Olympics and the Unified Bocce team.
The Polar Pop is an annual event held at B-A similar to the Polar Plunge, where participants hop into a body of water after gathering pledge money. It’s all done in support of Special Olympics.
B-A began hosting its own Polar Pop several years ago as a way of keeping the event on campus and involving more students and faculty.
You can read about the event here and access a slide show here.
In all, 12 members of the Bellwood-Antis faulty participated, with 12 students from both the general and special education pathways.
