B-A rebounded from its loss to West Branch with a big win over Mount Union.

Last night, the Bellwood-Antis boys basketball team was victorious over Mount Union, topping the Trojans at home 66-45.

It was an important win after the Devils fell Friday to Inter-County Conference rival West Branch.

Bellwood’s record is now 9-2 and 5-1 in the ICC, leaving Mount Union with a record of 3-8 and 1-4 in the ICC.

Joey Padula led B-A scoring 11 points. Jake Burch added 9 points, and Jarrett Taneyhill scored 8.

B-A had 4 players score 3 point goals; Nathan Davis, Jake Burch, Trent Walker with two of them, and Tanner Worthing. On the other end they had a good defensive game.

“We came out strong as a team and quickly got a comfortable lead,” said junior Jarrett Taneyhill

At halftime Bellwood-Antis was in the Lead 44-14.
