Last evening the Tyrone/Bellwood-Antis co-op girls tennis team lost in a 6-1 decision to Windber, dropping the team’s overall record to 0-2.

Tyrone had only a single match win from B-A junior star Tina Hollen.  Hollen stole the win, taking straight sets 6-3, 6-1.

According to Hollen, things could’ve been better, despite the win.

“I played awful.  The score looks good, but I know I can do better. I double faulted too much, and my serve was hit and miss,” said Hollen.

The win has set Windber on a 2-0 campaign so far in the early year.
