Tune Talk: My Chemical Romance Albums Ranked

5. Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys (2010)
Most My Chemical Romance fans classify this album as the worst My Chemical Romance album to ever be released. Most people call it an abomination to their music. Most people call it absolute garbage. I don’t think it’s that bad, it’s an okay album and it definitely could’ve been better than it was. The album had some good songs in my opinion like “Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na),” “Save Yourself and I’ll Hold Them Back,” “The Kids From Yesterday,” and “Bulletproof Heart.”

4. Conventional Weapons (2013)
This album wasn’t a COMPLETE bust but it wasn’t pretty. This album as well as “Danger Days” brought My Chemical Romance to a whole different light, making it seem like they didn’t want to be emo anymore and instead that they wanted to be modern rock or even a pop rock. That wasn’t the case according the band though, so thank goodness for that. Anyways, this album was average in my opinion. I didn’t mind the songs, “Boy Division,” “Gun.” and “AMBULANCE.” But some of the others songs on the album just weren’t that good.

3. The Black Parade (2006)
Most of you that’re My Chemical Romance fans will probably freak out and question why “The Black Parade,” isn’t at the number one spot on my list. Well there’s one simple answer for that, and that’s because it wasn’t their best album. That’s right. “The Black Parade,” was good but it wasn’t perfect. With some of the slower songs and questionable songs like “Disenchanted,” “Sleep,” and “Blood,” I was questioning quite frankly what happened to My Chemical Romance because those songs just were not good in my opinion. On the other hand, the album has some amazing songs like “Famous Last Words,” “Teenagers,” “Dead!,” “This is How I Disappear,” “The Sharpest Lives,” “I Don’t Love You,” and my favorite, “Mama.”

2. I Brought You My Bullets You Brought Me Your Love (2002)
This album is another one of those first and forgotten albums by bands like Fall Out Boy, Taking Back Sunday, and Panic! At the Disco had with their first albums. My Chemical Romance’s first album couldn’t of been any better than it was. The album featured great songs like “Vampires Will Never Hurt You,” “Honey This Mirror Isn’t Big Enough For the Both of Us,” “Demolition Lovers,” “Drowning Lessons,” “Cubicles,” and “This is the Best Day Ever,” you can’t get any more emo than this album right here.

1. Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge (2004)
I don’t know about the other big My Chemical Romance fans out there in the world, but I personally think that My Chemical Romance’s second album was their best by far. And yes, it’s much better than their most popular album, “The Black Parade.” Why is it better you ask? If you’re a huge emo like I am myself, you appreciate the true art that this album is. With songs like “The Ghost of You,” “Thank You For the Venom,” “I’m Not Okay (I Promise),” and “Helena” you can never go wrong.
