ARTIST OF THE WEEK: Andy Miller
Andy Miller is this week’s Artist of the Week.
The BluePrint’s Artist of the Week is junior Andy Miller. He plays the euphonium and the baritone.
Andy started playing in fourth grade when he was around nine.
Back in elementary school, Andy loved music class and knew that he wanted to play an instrument. So when joining the band was an option, he signed up.
“I also play the trombone, but my favorite instruments to play are the ones I have no idea what I’m doing with,” says Andy.
Andy practices a lot to earn a spot in the festivals he has gone to, so he is happy to get this recognition. He also participates in art club and cross country.
“He is definitely the most mature instrumentalist we have,” said Band Director Patrick Sachse, “both in terms of his behavior at rehearsals and his musical expression.”
