Bellwood places three at virtual speech meet

Last Thursday the Bellwood-Antis speech team had three place winners at the third speech meet of the season.
The meet was held virtually, with entrants submitting pieces both live online and pre-recorded.
Senior Haley Campbell was the top finisher for B-A, placing first in prose.
Lexi Diamond, also a senior, placed third in poetry, and classmate Lauren Young placed fourth place in poetry.
All speakers from Bellwood-Antis were all live.
The team’s next outing will be a big one. The group will compete in the District championships Thursday, with a shot at going to states on the line.
