ARTIST OF THE WEEK: Sidney Davis
Sidney Davis works on a project in art class.
Sidney Davis is a Bellwood-Antis sophomore and this week’s Artist of the Week.
Sidney is a regular art class student at B-A, and she loves art, Her favorites include painting, drawing and clay sculpting. Although art is much more than fun, for Sidney, “It’s calming, relieves stress.”
Of all Sidney’s art, she is most proud of Lizard in a Coconut. This piece resonates with her showing how far she’s come. Sidney began her art journey drawing lizards.
Describing her art in one word she said “emotional.”
Sidney gets inspiration from her mother and farm goats, pushing her to find new levels of arts unbeknownst to her.
Sydney’s favorite art memory is creating her siamic Lizard in a Coconut.
