Avah Hassler is a very active student at Bellwood-Antis. She participates in volleyball and track, Renaissance, Key Club, FCA, Spanish Club, Avedium, and Mini-Thon.
Avah is this week’s Just junior.
Volleyball has taken a huge role in Avah’s life and high school career.
“From learning leadership skills, to becoming a part of something bigger than myself, it has taught me some very valuable life skills, along with everyday skills in order to excel in my high school career,” she says.
Her favorite classis the one she finds most entertaining.
“My favorite class is definitely Spanish. Senora makes us all laugh and everyday is just as fun as the last.”
Avah is unsure of what she wants to do after she graduates but is leaning towards the medical field. The best part about high school for her is the freedom and seeing her friends everyday.
Some things that have helped Avah throughout high school have been “the support system at Bellwood, from students to the teachers, and Quizlet obviously.”
