There are dress up days every day this week to celebrate Spread the Word: inclusion.

This week is spirit week for the Spread the Word: Inclusion campaign to show awareness for students with special needs.

Julia Johnson

Students at Bellwood-Antis High School concluded last week by signing pledge cards, vowing not to use derogatory language aimed at individuals with intellectual disabilities.

This week, the student body can participate by partaking in spirit week dress up days.

Monday- Hats off to inconclusion- wear your favorite hat

Tuesday- Blend together day- Wear something tie dyed

Wednesday- One school unified- Wear your BASD blue and gold

Thursday- Get comfy with inconclusion- Wear your pajamas

Friday- Wear red for Autism acceptance

According to the Spread the Word website, activities like Inclusion Week demonstrate that together we can create a society where everyone is valued, celebrated, and free from the impact of harmful stereotypes.
