Ms. Young is one of our new math and science teachers here at Bellwood. She graduated high school at Bellwood in 2021, and was inspired by her teachers to become one herself. Ms. Young enjoyed her time at Bellwood so much that she decided not only to become a teacher but to teach here at Bellwood. She radiates passion and motivation for what she loves, and just being around her will encourage you to do the same.
Ms. Young wants to start a speech league club next year. She was in a speech league club when she was younger and thinks it would be cool to bring it back. Another thing she enjoyed when she was younger was science, which sparked her passion for teaching science. She student-taught first grade at Bakers Elementary for a short period of time before moving on to what she teaches now. “I genuinely care about the students, and I want them to enjoy learning and coming to school every day,” Miss Young exclaims!
Miss Young is a kind and involved teacher, and we are proud to have her as a staff member. We can’t wait to see how she impacts the student body and supports kids.
