Bellwood-Antis is bringing back the Variety show, it is an opportunity for students to showcase a special skill, talent, or choreographed entertainment to the community.

Mr. Travis Martin a middle school science and history teacher is stepping up and bringing it back and is taking charge and facilitating the show.  The show will be sponsored by the Bellwood-Antis Education Foundation.

For years the variety show was sponsored by retired teacher Sue Kovensky through the Leo Club.  Ms. K retired in 2014, and the show hasn’t run since then.

“I remember, as a student, how entertaining the acts were for our community.  In addition, it supports an invaluable cause, the BASD Foundation, which enhances our district’s student experience via teacher classroom grants,” said Mr. Martin.

Mr. Martin is currently accepting requests to tryout, which is being held on April 11th from 3:30-6:30.  Permission slips and further information is available in Mr. Martin’s class, room 24.

So come on out on April 11 for tryouts, it would be a great way to show off your skills, the show will be held in the High School auditorium on April 28.
