People can say how great and important teachers are, but teachers often go overlooked.  Even though teachers don’t get into the profession for fame and recognition, that doesn’t mean they don’t deserve it.

May 8-12 is national Teacher Appreciation Week, and students all around the world will be showing their appreciation for their teachers.

Teachers do so much for students. They give the students opportunities and motivation to succeed, not only in school, but later on in the real world.

At B-A, and around the world, it is important to recognize teachers, and what they do.

“We take teachers for granted, everything they do in school, and all of the planning they do out of school.  It is important because the teachers ARE Bellwood, and without them, there would be no Bellwood,” said Bellwood-Antis Vice Principal Mrs. Cathy Adams.

BA is doing several things to recognize teachers and one is the NHS recognizing teachers by making thank you cards and sending to teachers and administration. Teachers also received a set of Subway lunch cards in their mail boxes, courtesy of the high school administration.
