Giuliana Gummo loves to play basketball at the Rec.

Myers Elementary third grader Giuliana Gummo is following in her siblings’ footsteps.
Giuliana first wanted to play sports when she saw her sister Sicily play volleyball.
Also an accomplished dancer, she plays basketball at the moment, like her brother Mason, who is a junior on the varsity basketball team. Giuliana plays at the Northern Blair Recreational Center and is the wing and is Number 2 on her team.
Guilianna said what she likes most about playing basketball is “playing other teams, because it’s fun to play friends from other schools”.
Gymnastics and soccer are two other sports Giuliana competes in. She also said that something unique about herself is that she likes math.
