The Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils found themselves in another close game on Friday night when they traveled to Claysburg-Kimmel to take on the Bulldogs.

The Blue Devils led by just one at halftime but puled away with a 41-point second half to win 68-53.

Along the way, senior Trent Walker reached the 1,000-point plateau.

A 9-0 run started the game for the Blue Devils but like always they just couldn’t finish the game early and let the Bulldogs back into the game. The Bulldogs would fight back and finish the first quarter with only a four point deficit, 16-12. The first half ended with a mere one point lead for the Blue Devils 27-26.

All night the Blue Devils pushed a fast pace offense with a lot of different scorers. Four different Blue Devils hit double digit figures scoring.  Walker led the team in scoring on only 9 shots for 17 points.

Junior TJ Wyland had a double double on Friday night with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Senior point guard Tanner Worthing only scored 6 points, but like a true point guard dished out 11 assists.
