Bellwood-Antis traveled out to West Branch for an I.C.C. match up that didn’t end well for the Lady Warriors. The final score was an astounding 82-17.

The first quarter looked like a shoot-around and West Branch was was rebounding. The score by the end was 39-0. At the end of the third quarter the Lady Blue Devils were leading the Lady Warriors by 72 points before being outscored by West Branch 6-8 in the final frame.

Alli Campbell had another big game, dropping 27 points, pulling 10 rebounds, and dishing 7 assists. She also had 7 takeaways and a block. It was Campbell’s second double double in a row, and it puts her at 6 for the season.

Junior Riley D’Angelo had a big game, scoring 23 points and shooting a perfect 4 for 4 from the 3-point line.

Sakeria Haralson made her first appearance on the court since last Friday’s game against Claysburg-Kimmel and she threw a block party, rejecting 7 shots to go along with 6 points and 5 boards.

This game was really just a warm up for what would appear to be a tough game on Saturday 3 o’clock at home against Mountain League school Penns Valley.

Penns Valley edged Juniata Valley by one point in the season-opener, and Juniata Valley beat Bellwood-Antis by one point on a buzzer beater earlier this month. This logic might not be bulletproof, but it will be interesting to see how true it proves.

Come out tomorrow and support girls in what could be a close game. JV starts at 1:30 and Varsity plays at 3.
