The Blue Devils football team has been having a great season so far. Senior, Alex Frederick, is a big reason why.

Most recently in a 41-7 win over Juniata Valley, Frederick, had a total of 17 carries, 122 yards, and 2 touchdowns. This makes Frederick the Athlete of the Week.

With last week’s win under his belt, Alex says “I want to compete at the college level. Football has become my best friend. It gets me away from doubt and helps release my stress.”

Coach Lovrich told us the JV game was a breakout game for Alex.

“He has really been working hard and is having a great senior season this far,” says Coach Lovrich.

With it being Alex’s last season here at Bellwood, he has high hopes for the team and how far they will go this season. “If we all do our best and support each other we will get far!”
