Last Thursday, Bellwood-Antis fell short to Moshannon Valley 37-32 on the road.

Bellwood had four falls from Sophomores Alex Taylor, Landon Bungo and seniors Colton Gority, Paulino Cuevas, which combined to put up 24 points.

The big problem for Bellwood was their forfeits at 152 and 106 and pins in three other weight classes.

“We are stressing to our wrestlers that we need to get pins and not get pinned since we are giving up twelve points,” said Coach Tim Andrekovich. “The pins came back to haunt us. Overall, our guys wrestled well and they are getting better every each match.”

Junior Aiden Taylor defeated Brandon Smith 11-9 to get their first points of the match and it went back and forth between the two teams from there.
