Yesterday the Blue Devil baseball team took on Mount Union at home in its fifth straight home game.

B-A fell to the Trojans 4-0 in an ICC game, dropping their record to 3-2 on the season so far.

Senior Caden Nagle started the game, but walked the first three batters, leading to a 1-0 Mount Union lead. He was pulled in the first inning.

Mark Stewart come on to throw 3 innings, allowing three runs in the fourth. Coach Conlon put in Senior Alex Schmoke to close out the game.

Bellwood cleaned up on errors in the Mount Union game, but walks were a problem in this game. B-A pitchers walked six batters.

Late in the last inning, Schmoke was ejected from the game, resulting in a suspension for the next game.

That game will be in the Curve Classic this Thursday against Altoona and Bellwood.

The Blue Devils will play at the Curve on Thursday at 12:30.
