Last week, four Bellwood-Antis District Chorus singers had successful auditions at PMEA District 6 chorus and made it to the PMEA Regional Chorus Festival.

The regional competition will be held on February 26-28, 2020 at Central Cambria High School.

The advancing Bellwood-Antis singers are Noah Patton, Malia Danish, Jayce Miller, and Dallas Smithmyer. Auditioning at Forest Hills High School, Malia earned 5th chair as an Alto 1, Jayce earned 8th chair as an Alto 2, Noah earned 9th chair as a Bass 2, and Dallas earned 11th chair as a Tenor 1.

If these singers make it to the top four in their section at regionals, they will advance to states.

At Districts, singers sang a variety of tunes, many of which challenged them by not only pushing their vocal ranges and rhythms but their diction as well. The show included songs in Latin, Hebrew and German, as well as English.

Good luck to the Bellwood-Antis District Chorus singers!
