Last Friday, a PSU professor hosted a masterclass in the high school auditorium.

All chorus and band students were invited to watch Bonnie Bridget Cutsforth-Huber as she provided lessons for individual students that previously signed up.

Mrs. Cutsforth-Huber is an associate professor of music at Penn State-Altoona.

She also performed for the students and gave them theater and choral tips.

The master class concept is not new to the fine arts department. Both band and chorus have had several master teachers instruct students over the last several years.
