The Bellwood-Antis girls volleyball team faced off against Glendale in their second game of the season Tuesday night. Though they fought hard, the Lady Eagles lost in three sets by the scores of 25-18, 25-15, and 25-12.

Early in the season wins can be tough to come by. The Lady Blue Devils are a young squad, with some underclassmen playing big roles. Bumps along the way are expected, as the team works towards their first win of the season.

Bellwood looks to put their first tally in the win column Thursday night when they play West Branch at home.

SOCCER DOMINATES P-O

The Tyrone/Bellwood-Antis girls soccer team started their season off strong on Tuesday night. The Eagles traveled to Philipsburg-Osceola and crushed the Mountaineers by a score of 6-0, with four of their goals being scored in the first half.

Coming off of a 4-14 season just a year ago, this was a great way to get the season started.

The Lady Eagles are now 1-0 and hope to keep the ball rolling as they travel to Clearfield to take on the Bison Thursday night.
