Volleyball gets first win of the season

The Lady Blue Devil volleyball team cracked the win column by defeating Williamsburg.

The Volleyball team got their first win against Williamsburg on Tuesday night. They won in dominating fashion as they swept the Blue Pirates in 3 sets.

This was a massive win for the Lady Blue Devils coming off of four straight losses. 

Underclassmen Miranda Tornatore and Lydia Worthing each stepped up and had a big game. Tornatore had 19 assists and Worthing had 8 kills. In addition to that, senior Raven Criscitello had 25 digs to help the Blue Devils get a victory.

The girls’ next game is at home against Claysburg on Thursday night.
