Volleyball wins a pair of games this week

The volleyball team won two of three games this week.

This week has been full of success for the Lady Blue Devil volleyball team, winning a pair of matches on Monday and Tuesday.
Monday night Northern Bedford traveled to Bellwood to take on the volleyball team, but were sent home with a big loss to Bellwood. Bellwood won 26-24, 25-10, and 25-12 in the final set to complete the sweep.
Tuesday night the Lady Damsels of Moshannon Valley traveled to Bellwood just to be absolutely pounded by the Lady Blue Devils. Bellwood won 25-17, 25-13-, and 25-15 proving that the Lady Blue Devils dominated from the beginning. Moshannon Valley just did not have an answer for Bellwood. The volleyball team’s winning streak came to an end on Thursday night with a loss to Juniata Valley. The Lady Blue Devils lost in 4 sets and now sit 4 games under .500.
The girls finished 2-1 in their three games played this week. Bellwood has another trio of games to play next week at home against Tussey Mountain and Glendale, and at West Branch.
