The boys basketball team traveled to Mount Union on Saturday afternoon. The Blue Devils lost to the Trojans in their first matchup earlier in the season but got their revenge on Saturday, winning 66-63.

The Blue Devils had a narrow lead in the fourth quarter, but the Trojans tied it up with about a minute to go. A pair of layups by Connor Gibbons and Zach Miller gave the Blue Devils a four point lead with under 30 seconds to go. The boys kept hung on down the stretch or the narrow ICC win.

Miller and Trent Pellegrino, the Devils’ two top scorers averaging double-figures, put up 16 points for the Blue Devils, as did Zach Mallon. Sean Mallon cored 13.

Now 8-6 overall and 7-2 in the ICC, B-A solidified its No. 6 ranking in the District 6 3A standings. This is the final weeks for game points to count towards playoff rankings.

B-A will travel to Claysburg on Monday night to take on the Bulldogs.

Good luck to the boys. Go BA!
