On Tuesday, both the boys and girls Blue Devil track team downed two of their ICC foes: Southern Fulton and Juniata Valley. The boys defeated Southern Fulton by a score of 141-9 and Juniata Valley 108-42, while the girls topped Southern Fulton by a score of 124-26 and Juniata Valley 80-70.

Senior Joe Wertz was a triple-winner with wins in the shot put, discus, and javelin. Wertz tossed for a distance of 48 feet and 1 inch in the shot put, inching his way closer to the school record. Senior Zach Mallon added wins in long jump and high jump with a measurement of 19 feet and three-quarters of an inch and 39 feet and five inches, respectively. Junior Sean Mallon was a double-winner with wins in the 100 and 200-meter dashes.

For the girls, the lady devils took wins in the 400, 1600, and 3200 relay. Senior Sicily Yingling took a win in the 400-meter dash with a time of one minute and 6.9 seconds. Sophomore Alexis Lovrich took a win in the 800-meter dash with a time of two minutes and 39.9 seconds. One the field, junior Jaylee Shuke took a win in the discus with a heave of 85 feet and 2 inches.

The Devils’ next meet is Saturday, April 10, in the United Invitational. Good luck B-A!
