The Blue Devils have had a very successful 2021 season so far

From the looks of it, the Lady Blue Devil volleyball team had their hands full this week. The team had 3 games in 3 days with two of them being on the road at Mount Union and Williamsburg, then followed by a home matchup with Curwensville. This week was nothing the team couldn’t handle though, winning all 3 games in sweeping fashion and improving their record to 8-1. Bellwood volleyball continues to separate themselves from the pack in the ICC along with West Branch, who also has continued to dominate conference play.

Wednesday night, Bellwood traveled to Mount Union and won in 3 sets with scores of 25-16, 25-8, and 25-2. Hailee McConnell added 13 service points in the win over the Lady Trojans.

Next, on Thursday, The Lady Blue Devils got a win over the Golden Tide from Curwensville in another sweeping win with set scores of 25-11, 25-11, and 25-16. The Blue Devils were once again led by dynamic juniors Lydia Worthing and Hailee McConnell. Worthing totaled 18 service points and 13 kills in the win while McConnell added 29 service points.

The Lady Blue Devils take the court once again next Monday when they travel to Loysburg to take on the Northern Bedford Panthers.
