Friday’s football game against West Branch was Homecoming for Bellwood-Antis, with senior Emilee Kensinger crowned  queen.

Escorted by Caden Noel, Kensinger was named the queen at the halftime ceremony, where last year’s queen, Malia Danish, was on hand to present her with her crown and sash.

Anna Lovrich was 2nd runner up for home coming.

“I think everyone could tell by my reaction that I was not expecting it. It did not feel real,” said by Emilee Kensinger.

Candidates had a week in their honor with activities like spirit week, a photo shoot from blueprint, a parade, and got to shoot a video for the announcements through out the week. The parade took place before the football game. All of this lead up to the home coming game which BA won 49-0.

Kensinger said being homecoming queen made her grow as a person.
