Bellwood-Antis girls volleyball has a comeback win

The Bellwood-Antis volleyball team is in the midst of a successful season.

B-A is 14-4 overall and 11-2 in the ICC after splitting two games tis week.

The Lady Devils took on the No. 2 team in District 6 2A on Tuesday, falling to West Branch 3-1. Playing at home, B-A won the first set 26-24 before dropping the next three (25-16, 25-14, 25-11) against West Branch,  which improved to 16-0 overall, 23-0 when tournaments are factored in.

B-A regrouped on Thursday to defeat Williamsburg in a clean sweep 3-0. The Lady Devils put on a dominating performance despite playing without three starters who were injured.

Bellwood-Antis and West Branch represent two of the top three teams in the ICC, while the Lady Warriors are currently second behind undefeated Bishop Guilfoyle in District 6 2A. The Lady Devils are No. 6.

B-A is now getting prepared to take on the Tyrone Lady Eagles on Monday at home.
