Track teams looking for successful season

The B-A boys and girls track teams are getting ready to kick off their season today against the Bedford Bison.

Boys Track and Field

The boys track and field squad are looking to have a victorious season this spring.

Some notable returners from last year’s boys squad are sprinters Sean Mallon and Cooper Keen and hurdler Hunter Shawley, who placed 6th in the PIAA state track meet.

As for the field side, some returning lettermen for the boys are senior Aarron Laird and junior Elijah Pluebell.

Girls Track and Field

The girls track team is looking to build off of their success from last year.

Some notable returners from last year are distance runner Alexis Lovrich and pole vaulter Lydia Worthing, who claimed a district title as a sophomore.
