On Wednesday, the Blue Devil baseball team traveled to Juniata Valley to take on the Hornets for a make-up after a cancelation earlier in the season.

After the Hornets put up two unanswered runs in the first. B-A would never take the lead as the final score ended up 11-4.

Junior Zach Pier accounted for two of the seven hits for the Devils as well as an RBI, but walks and fielding errors cost the Devils multiple runs.

The Devils fell to a record of 2-5 while Juniata Valley improved to 4-4.

Due to weather conditions, last night’s game against the Mount Union Trojans has been postponed until May 11. The Devils’ next game is this Saturday when they host the Tyrone Golden Eagles.
