Hailee McConnel leads the volleyball team in assists and digs.

Hailee McConnel has started her senior volleyball season on fire.
McConnell has been a vital part to the volleyball teams hot start, which includes jumping out to a 6-0 record.
Her 29 digs and 64 assist are leading the team. She is second on the team in digs percentage. She is also third on the team in Hitting percentage and Kills.
For her performance McConnell has been named BluePrint’s Athlete of the Week.
“Volleyball has always been my favorite sport, and I love my team and the rush I get from playin,” said Hailee.
Hailee also said the team’s success has come from the work they put in and how well the team works together.
Hailee spent most of her offseason recovering from a wrist injury, so she wasn’t able to participate in club volleyball, but when she was fully healthy, she would go to work out and play in some winter leagues
The Lady Devils are undefeated and preparing to play Moshannon Valley Thursday night. Right now, McConnel said the team is hoping to continue its winning streak and “make it farther in the playoffs this year,” said Hailee.
