The Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils travel to West Branch to play the Warriors tonight.

The Blue Devils are 5-3 and are still looking for a spot in the District 6 playoffs. Bellwood-Antis is currently in 5th place in the 2A  rankings. West Branch is 10th in the 1A standings, still hopeful to sneak into the playoffs.

Bellwood-Antis is coming off a 20-12 loss to Mo Valley last week. West Branch is also coming off a loss to Mount Union, 27-7.

Bellwood-Antis will have to go against another powerhouse of a quarterback in junior Tyler Biggans, who is averaging 197 rushing yards per game. The Blue Devils have had to face tough quarterbacks week after week, so this is something that they are ready for.

On the offensive side, the Blue Devils have been able to move the ball on the ground, putting up 237 rushing yards per game. B-A is led by senior quarterback Gaven Ridgway with 82 rushing yards per game.

Last time out against the Black Knights, Bellwood-Antis was only able to complete 4 passes on 21 attempts, although they were able to get a passing touchdown out of the air to senior tight end Eli Pluebell. B-A will look for more balance from its offense against the Warriors.
