I.C.C. football all-stars released

Dylan Andrews (26) was one of six B-A players to make the ICC Gold Division first team.

The I.C.C. has released its all-stars for the 2022 football season, and Bellwood-Antis has 6 players that made the first team for the Gold Division. 

Blue Devils who made the first team consisted of the following players: Seniors Ethan Norris (OL), Andrew Nycum (OL), Eli Pluebell (DE), Gaven Ridgway (P), Nick Kost (K), Dylan Andrews (DB), and junior Jordan Hescox (LB).

Honorable mention players were junior Chance Schreier (DE) and sophomore Griffin Kyle (athlete). 

Ridgway punted the ball 28 times for 865 yards for a 30.8 yards per punt average. His longest punt of the season was 48 yards. Nick Kost kicked the ball 37 times with his longest kick being 60 yards. 

Andrews accounted for 31 total tackles and led the team with 4 interceptions. Eli Pluebell had 58 tackles and 4 sacks. Jordan Hescox led the team with 83 tackles on the season. 

Head Coach Nick Lovrich was proud of the players who made the team.

“We were very happy and proud to see our players recognized by the I.C.C. for being all stars. They worked hard and are very deserving of the honor,” he said.
