B-A takes first loss in ICC Conference

Brayden Wagner and the BA basketball team lost for the third time Monday against Juniata Valley.

The Bellwood-Antis boys’ basketball team fell to Juniata Valley 70-57 Monday night in Alexandria.

Early in the game, the Blue Devils were down a significant amount; however, there was a quick recovery in the second quarter. This brought the score within one point at half time. 

B-A trailed the Hornets for the remainder of the game. Juniata Valley ultimately made a 10 point run, which led to a deficit for the rest of the game. Senior Caleb Beiswenger finished the game with a total of 29 points, making him the high scorer for both teams. 

The Blue Devils are now 0-1 in the conference, and 0-3 overall. Valley improved to 2-1 and 1-0 in the ICC.

The next game is against Moshannon Valley at home on Wednesday, December 14. This will be the first home game for the Blue Devils.
