Freshman Lilly Gerwert continued to produce points for BA in its win over Juniata Valley.

Last night the Lady Devils traveled to Juniata Valley to play the Hornets for their first ICC game of the season. Bellwood-Antis won the game 58-36, led by senior Lydia Worthing’s 17 points and 4 rebounds.

It was Worthing’s first game back this season.

Sophomore Leigha Clapper had 8 points, while junior Chloe Hammond and freshman Lilly Gerwert both had 7 points. The team shot 36% from the field and 63% from the free throw line. 

Bellwood-Antis was able to take a 36-20 lead at halftime to put the game away the entire second half. 

The girls are now 2-1 and 1-0 in the conference. Their next game is tomorrow 12/16 at Moshannon Valley.
