Last week two BA students qualified for the PMEA Region III Festival: sophomore Jacob Caracciolo and senior Daman Mills.

The students auditioned while at District chorus at Portage Area High School.

Regional chorus will be held at Clearfield Area H.S. from February 23-25.

For senior Daman Mills, this will be his 3rd time making it to regionals after making it to states as a sophomore. Daman finds it exciting getting to audition again for states.

“It will be fun getting to work with such a great chorus,” said Daman.

After making it to states as a sophomore, Daman says he feels he has a high probability of making it to states this year.

For sophomore Jacob Caracciolo, this will be his first year making it to regionals. Making it to regionals is big deal for Jacob and he looks forward to getting more experience working at a higher level. Since Jacob is only a sophomore, he said making it to states isn’t as important to him.

“Being my first year, I don’t see my chances being very high,” he said.

We wish these two student best of luck on their upcoming concert.
