Bellwood-Antis to host Jr. High County Band

Ten B-A musicians will put their skills on display when next Monday, January 30th, and again on Tuesday, February 21st, when Bellwood-Antis will be hosting the Jr. High County Band festival.
The Bellwood-Antis musicians, led by Band Director Mr. Patrick Sachse, are: Lindsey Brinkman, Ezri Bumgarner, Anika Giffen, Paige Henderson, Julie Kraft, Evelyn Toland, Koda Wilson, Conor Mozley, Colin Neary, and Anthony Berardi. The event will be held in the Richard Bower Auditorium.
As an added benefit to the festival and preparations leading up to it, Dr. Weller from Messiah College will attend to provide professional development session to band directors. Also, Mr. Gabe Newvine has arranged his own version of a song that will be played at the festival, and he will present a lesson on soloing to the student musicians in attendance.
B-A will have 100 guests from the other county schools. Lunch will be at 12:45 in the Middle School Cafeteria and it will hosted in the auditorium.
