Boys host senior night; Lady Devils dominate Curwensville

ANdrew Nycum is among the seniors who will be recognized for the Bellwood-Antis basketball team on Senior Night.

The Bellwood-Antis boys basketball team will host Curwensville on tonight for Senior Night. 

Seniors include Caleb Beiswenger, Brayden Wagner, Andrew Nycum, Canyon Neyman, and Lance Robinson. These seniors will be recognized before the game at 7:30pm.

The boys are coming off of a 16-point win against Moshannon Valley, and have an overall record of 5-11. After Curwensville, they will have 5 regular season games remaining. 

GIRLS DOMINATE CURWENSVILLE

Last night the Lady Devils had a dominant 92-32 victory over Curwensville. Led by senior Lydia Worthing with 16 points. B-A was able to go up 55-14 at the half. 

Four of the Lady Devil’s starters were able to score double digits including Lydia Worthing (16), Jenna Norton (15), Leigha Clapper (13), and Chloe Hammond (10).

This win improves the team’s record to 14-3, moving ahead of Portage in the District 6 rankings for first place. The Lady Devils still remain in 2nd place behind Williamsburg in the ICC North rankings. Their next game is home against Williamsburg on Monday.
