Chloe Hammond applies defensive pressure against Claysburg-Kimmel.

After a tough conference loss to Williamsburg Monday, the Lady Devils hosted Claysburg-Kimmel last night in a game between divisions in the ICC. B-A won 65-20 led by senior Lydia Worthing with 20 points and 10 rebounds. 

The game had a slow start and through the first quarter the Lady Devils were up just 4-2 before turning it on to take a 14-5 lead.

It was 36-11 by halftime, and B-A’s 21-2 run through the third quarter for the mercy rule clock moving.

Other contributors to the game were sophomore Leigha Clapper with 13 points and 10 assists, and senior Chelsea McCaulsky, who also picked up 10 assists.

The win improved Bellwood-Antis record to 15-4. Their next game is against West Branch tonight. 

The last meeting between these two teams was won by B-A with a score of 66-27. This game is also Senior Night for the Lady Devils.
