The Pines will be returning to B-A for a benefit concert on March 3.

On Friday, March 3, the Bellwood-Antis auditorium will be hosting The Pinesin a charity concert.

The concert will be held from 7-10 p.m., with a $5 admission fee. The seats are first-come first-serve and the auditorium doors will open at 6:30.

The concert is to benefit the B-A musical department, with all proceeds The Pines receive going towards the program.

The Pines are an upcoming independent local band, with a B-A senior, Daman Mills, as the front man. Daman is the lead vocals for the band, which is made up of  3 other Central High School students: Logan Warner, Ben Brumbaugh, and Alex Snyder.

A heavy rock band, the Pines play a wide set of covers, from Harry Styles, to The Beatles, to Metallica, to even Elvis.  Not only do The Pines cover everyone’s favorite songs, they also have their own original songs!

They have played many local events and venues like Morrison Cover, the Diamond in Hollidaysburg, and the BullPen. They have even been on local radio stations!

Last month, the band played a concert at BA during the school day to reward the students and send them off on their long 4 day weekend. During the concert, students danced, singed, and had a good time.

Students at BA were singing along with Daman during their favorite songs, and even sang back to Daman during an original hit, That’s Alright.

Be sure to check out Blair County’s hottest new band, The Pines, at BA on Friday!
