The Bellwood-Antis boys and girls track and field teams were both victorious over the Tyrone Golden Eagles Tuesday in a Backyard Brawl matchup held at Memorial Stadium.

The Blue Devils won with a score of 86-64, improving their record to 10-3. The Lady Devils won the meet with a 91-59 victory improving their record to 12-1. 

Top scorers for the boys included Eli Pluebell and Kole Dickinson, each of whom were double-winners for the Devils. Pluebell won the shot put and discus with distances of 42-4 and 118-7, while Dickinson took first in the 110m and 300m hurdles with times of 16.2 and 42.0 seconds.

Sophomore Dan Reilly took first in the 800m run (2.20.5), and Caleb Beiswenger got first place in the 3200m run with a time of 11:52 minutes to round out B-A’s individual winners o  the track.  B-A took first in the 1600m relay with a time of 3:45 and first in the 3200m relay with a time of 9:51.

Dylan Andrews took first place in the triple jump and pole vault with distances of 40-11 and 14-0.  Chance Schreier took first in the javelin with a distance of 138-3.

Top scorers for the girls were Lydia Worthing and Lexi Lovrich, who were each triple winners.

Worthing took first in the 200m dash with a time of 28.6. She also won the high jump and pole vault with distances of 5-0 and 8-5.

Lovrich took first in the 800m, 1600m, and the 3200m with times 2:38, 5:36, and 12:49.

Shawna Lovrich took first in the 100m hurdles with a time of 18.3 and the B-A girls won the 400 relay and the 3200m relay with times of 53.2 and 13:36 in a dominant performance on the track.

Addy Turek took first in the triple jump with a distance of 32-11.5, and Alyson Partner took first in the shot put with a distance of 29-6. Chelsea McCaulsky took first in the javelin with a distance of 100-5.

The next meet for the track and field teams is Thursday against West Branch and Williamsburg. This is the last regular season meet for the Bellwood-Antis teams before they go into their invitationals, and it will once again be played at home.
